There's a reason why rice is the staple food of over half of the world's population - it's cheap and it's versatile. I rarely cook white rice these days (mostly because everyone seems to be hungry again within the hour) but I do make an exception for Rice Pudding, one of the most underrated and easiest desserts. I've also included an Oven Baked Mushroom Risotto here as a reminder that sometimes, even the archetypal high maintenance dishes can be transformed into a no fuss experience.
