Cake Recipes

Baking a great cake is often as much about science as it is about art. The ingredients need to be weighed out correctly, the tin needs to be the perfect size, the oven should be at the right temperature and there certainly needs to be no opening the oven door every few minutes to take a look. The cake recipes here are the area where I'm most likely to be a bit bossy, so sorry in advance for that! It will be worth it though, when you cut into a deliciously light and zesty Lemon Layer Cake or open up a box of Chocolate & Caramel Cupcakes.
