Everything is about balance for me. I respect my body and my health enough to know that I need to treat it well and feed it well, but i also recognise that I want to enjoy what I eat and not feel that I am overly restrictive. 'Everything in moderation', is what suits me but I also know that when I've over indulged (I'm looking at you, Christmas food), I run towards the healthier options to restore that balance. For much of the year, I choose to make these 10 No Fuss Healthy Food Swaps and the rest of the year I adopt a roughly 80:20 approach - I eat with a healthy focus 80% of the time and enjoy less healthy and more indulgent treats the rest of the time. Salads and vegetable dishes make eating healthily feel like a pleasure not a chore and I especially enjoy the Puy Lentil Salad with Ginger & Chilli and some Everyday Stir Fry Vegetables.
